Responsive Medical Services (RMS) is seeking a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our talented team of emergency medical care professionals. As a member of this team, you will play a  critical role in stabilizing patients and providing care and transportation to local medical care facilities.

Opportunities available 

• Full-time and part-time 
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays) 

What you’ll do: 

• Respond to callouts from dispatchers 
• Assess patients’ conditions and responsiveness to interventions 
• Assess nature and extent of emergency situations and need for additional assistance
• Mitigate incidents by helping to control crowds and protect valuables 
• Safely operate emergency vehicles 
• Assist other emergency medical personnel with administration of advance life support
• Liaison to healthcare facilities regarding patients’ vital statistics 
• Organize the reception of patients at medical treatment facilities 
• Complete patient care reports and other necessary equipment 
• Attend crew meetings 
• Maintain vehicles, crew quarters, and provide feedback on medical equipment needs • Accurately follow all medical protocols 
• Provide exceptional care for our patients!

You also meet the following requirements:  

• High school diploma or GED 
• Current State of California EMT Certificate 
• California Driver’s License 
• Good driving record 
• California Ambulance Drivers License (Preferred) 
• Familiarity with the location of hospitals and facilities in the Orange County, Los Angeles County,  and San Diego County areas.  
• The ability to lift up to 150 pounds.
